It certainly have been a month in a hurry. As you might have already figured out PostX 0.3. beta2 will not be released today. Instead, the beta2 will be missed totally. I realized that overall I am so close to achieving what I want PostX 0.3 to become that it makes no sense at all to release another beta at this point. Instead, the new plan is to make everything ready before Christmas time. There will be many changes and the plan is to also once again go back to cd size.
Here is a list of coming features(note. this is not final and there might be more things to come along with 0.3.)
- PostX 0.3. will have 32-bit and 64-bit versions. This takes a lot of work to make it right – but will be done.
- Vlc skin is re-designed along with the general outlook.
- Miimo will have a standalone cli version and a gui version integrated with Crosslinker FM (The new default file manager)
- There will be a new Web browser.
In general, PostX 0.3. will most likely be the best and most stable release yet. At least, on my development environment the speed and stability increase is notable.
