Dependencies:

pulseaudio #this is a must-have dependency.

pulseudio-utils #this is needed because the program uses pactl.

alsa-utils #this is needed because the program uses amixer as a helper when fetching system sound level upon start. Amixer is also used when setting microphone input level via the microphone slider. Continue reading

The program has been done with Python and QT. So, if you use desktop which relies on GTK2/3 make sure to install qt4-qtconfig.

With Qtconfig you can make sure that the outlook is balanced between QT and GTK+ applications. I recommend using Clearlooks theme. Remember to save changes before exiting Qtconfig.
